Laphroaig 33 Year Old The Ian Hunter Story Book Three
Laphroaig 33 Year Old – The Ian Hunter Story Book Three is a rare and prestigious single malt celebrating the legacy of Ian Hunter. This third chapter in the series is presented in an elegant book-style case, documenting an important part of Laphroaig’s history, focusing on the historic rivalry over access to water.
Fully matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 49.9% ABV without chill filtration, the whisky delivers aromas of pear, peach, and apricot, followed by honey, nutmeg, and gentle peat. The palate is sweet and syrupy with aniseed and creamy liquorice, leading to a long finish of ashy vanilla and lingering peat. A truly exceptional and collectible release.

Littlemill Testament 1976 is the distillery’s oldest release, distilled on 4 October 1976. Re-casked in 1996 into American oak hogsheads by master distiller Michael Henry, it later spent time in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks before final marrying and bottling in 2020 at 42.5% ABV.
Limited to just 250 bottles, each is housed in a hand-blown glass decanter with a sandstone stopper. The whisky offers aromas of green apple, pear, citrus, and ginger, leading to a sweet, vibrant palate with a creamy texture and a long, gently spiced finish.
