While Queen Elizabeth II was crowned this Single Malt was being distilled on the shores of Skye. This amber toned whisky was matured for 24 years and bottled in 1977 at 43% abv.The nose is reminiscent of Winter on the shores of Skye with seaweed, pepper and some saltiness. The palate has maritime pepperiness running through with salt, phenol and some suppressed chili spice notes. The finish is medium long with salt and pepper aspects being revealed.

The oldest commercial release from Talisker, this Island single malt was distilled in 1978 and matured in refill American oak before a finish in Manzanilla sherry casks from Delgado Zuleta—honouring early 20th-century whisky styles.
Part of the Bodega Series (second release), only 2,000 bottles were produced at 50.7% ABV. The nose is spicy with fruity and maritime notes, while the palate is rich and smooth with sweet fudge, balanced by salt, peppery heat, and chilli spice. A long, warm finish lingers with peat smoke.
