The Last Drop 56 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky

This blended Scotch from The Last Drop Distillers is the oldest expression ever released by the company. Crafted with at least 60% single malt whiskies, the youngest component was laid down in 1963, a significant year in modern history. The whisky spent its first two decades maturing in sherry butts, followed by a long finishing period in ex-bourbon casks.

Bottled in 2019 at 56 years of age, only 732 bottles were produced. Each is presented in a luxury case with a 5cl miniature, custom-made stopper, and tasting book.

The nose shows floral notes with vanilla and a touch of smoke, developing into chocolate and spice. The palate reveals more chocolate and spice, balanced by sweet buttered toast, leading to a long and satisfying finish.
